Submit Your Film:
Film submissions are now open to filmmakers from around the world. There is no submission fee. All films must be feature length, nonviolent, spoken in English or with English subtitles. Priority will be given to World Premieres and to European Premieres. A total of nine feature films will be selected in competition and they will be screened at the Dramatic Theater. Feature films (nonviolent) will also be selected for out-of-competition public screenings taking place in the main piazza of the city. The final format for screening at the festival will be DVD - (NO prints).
We accept either DVDs or online screeners.
DVD SUBMISSION: If submitting a DVD please contact us at info@rollywood.org to request the mailing address. The DVD will not be returned.
ONLINE SUBMISSION: If submitting an online screener, please e-mail the link to your film (and the access code) to info@rollywood.org.

Press registration for media is currently open.
The application requires you to send us an email at info@rollywood.org with the following:
Your Full Name: The name must be written in this order First|Middle|Last.
Contact Info: Please include your phone number.
Country: The name of the country you are from as well as the name(s) of the countries where your coverage will be published/broadcast.
A passport size photo: Photos must be submitted as JPG files. The file size of each image should not be smaller than 10kb and larger than 300kb.
Publication/TV/Radio: The name of the publication/TV/radio you work for and the type and focus of the planned coverage of the Festival.
If you are a freelancer: Please specify the names of the publications/TV/radio you normally contribute for and the type and focus of the planned coverage of the Festival.
Approval or denial of accreditation: The Festival reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.
Notification: We will notify you as soon as your application is either approved or denied. If your application is approved, we will send you specific details regarding your credentials. Should you have further inquiries, please contact us at info@rollywood.org.

Film Director Bruno Pischiutta, Chairman of the Board of Global Film Studio, the funding source of the event, and festival's Artistic Consultant, had this to say: “Our company has a long term interest in Brasov becoming an international film production center. The festival will welcome filmmakers, film distributors, media and world personalities. It will give them the chance to discover this especially beautiful city of Brasov with all it has to offer in terms of shooting locations, talent and film professionals. We like that Brasov, in time, will become a strategic meeting place for film producers and distributors in Europe. We also believe that the event will help attract to the city many more tourists from abroad."
Film Producer Daria Trifu, President of Brasov Film Center and festival's Director, adds: "I would like to thank our team of talented and enthusiastic filmmakers who are practically and creatively helping set up this festival. In particular, I would like to thank Mayor George Scripcaru and Ms. Cecilia Doiciu, Brasov City Hall's Director of Exterior Relations, who have facilitated the partnership agreement with the city that made the Dramatic Theater available as the main festival location. Romania, located at the crossroads of Central and Southeastern Europe, became an official member of the European Union on January 1, 2007. Brasov, a Medieval city, has a population of approximately 280,000. Most of the people speak one or more of the following foreign languages: English, French, German and Hungarian. Brasov, a resort city, is labeled the "Green Capital of Romania" and is located in the central part of the country, about 166 km north of the capital city Bucharest. It is surrounded by the Southern Carpathians and it is part of the Transylvania region. Brasov stands 20 minutes far from the famous Dracula Castle and 12 km far from Poiana Brasov (Olympic Winter Sports resort).
