Introduction & Information:

The International Film Workshops program will run for five consecutive years commencing in Spring 2012. The workshops will be free for all accepted students and they will be taught in English language; they will be held in the Sala Mica of the Dramatic Theater ("Sica Alexandrescu") of Brasov. A maximum of 35 students will be admitted per year. The workshops are in: Film Acting, Directing, Producing and Screenplay Writing.
 
 
Priority will be given to Transylvanian talent (an average of 80% of each year's student intake); Romania other areas (5%); International (15%). There is no age limit to apply. Students who complete their courses will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

The International Film Workshops program will train students in different areas of filmmaking. It is the aim of Brasov Film Center to provide the students, when possible, with paid work on the set of its film productions, both during and after they successfully complete the Workshops. In addition, the students will be participating to the organization of the Brasov International Film Festival & Market so that they will have the opportunity to meet with local & international film and media executives.

Film Author Bruno Pischiutta will be the principal teacher of the International Film Workshops. Esteemed international film professionals will also address the students on a regular basis throughout the duration of the workshops. 


How To Pre-Register?:

If your aim is to become an international Film Actor, Director, Producer or Screenplay Writer and you wish to participate to the International Film Workshops email us at:

Your Email Should Include:

1. Personal data: your full legal name, age, city and country you are from, contact information (Tel) and resume.

2. Workshop: the name of the program you are interested in (Film Acting, Directing, Producing, Screenplay Writer). Each student may apply to attend one of the four workshops only.

3. Personal Letter: include a personal letter addressed to Director Bruno Pischiutta. The letter must be in English and it should be telling more about you, your goals and the reasons why you believe that you should be chosen to attend the workshop of your choice.

4. Photos: all students must include at least one photo; if your choice is Film Acting, more photos are welcome.

Application:

After we receive your Pre-Registration information, we will send you a formal Application Form which must be completed and returned to us by: 2012 Application Deadline - April 30


Upcoming Information:

The Academic Schedule (including: duration of the workshops, dates, etc.) will be provided to the selected students.
